When you look back

When you look back, you realize you were a stupid.
You could have easily avoided the pits and bumps,
But, you rode straight over it.

You have learned a lot, though.
If it had not been for the pits and bumps,
'You' would have been some other 'you'.

You may regret at not riding on the nicer path.
But, the mere thought of missing 'you',
Makes you wonder and smile.

If ever presented an opportunity to choose the route again,
I don't know how many would get this.
But, I would want to ride the same old path.
