All parents want to give their child a comfortable lifestyle. They protect their child and expect him/her to turn up to be a respectable person in the society. After all, they are parents, you know, they provide the best and expect the best.
During the whole upbringing process, they guide him/her to the victory stand. They eventually start deciding what is good for their child. You may ask what is so bad in this? They are the parents and they aren't doing anything bad.
But, let me remind you that everyone has likes, interest and passion. Making decisions even as a parent seems unright.
Don't crank you child with decisions. Instead, crank him/her with suggestions and throw him the authority of decision making.
Only suffering and hardship make up a successful person.
